We believe this represents IBM Security QRadar’s overall viability, customer experience, market responsiveness, product track record, sales execution, operations and marketing execution
What’s particularly gratifying is that this achievement reflects the overwhelmingly positive experiences our clients report. No vendor is positioned highly without solid customer references. We’re fortunate to have satisfied customers who readily share their IT security objectives, deployment details, user experiences and more with the Gartner analysts, affirming the value of our product line extensions and technology integration.

The Magic Behind the Positioning of IBM as a Leader in Gartner’s 2015 SIEM Magic Quadrant
Every IT security vendor will tell you his product satisfies customer demand. But what customers need is a reliable partner with expertise who delivers highly innovative solutions and services to address problems for which they may not yet be aware or in ways they’d not yet considered, such as correlating network flows with log events, asset values and user identities. We did that years ago, and we called it Security Intelligence.
What makes me especially proud is how customer after customer tells me the same thing: We love QRadar because it does what you say it does, and it does it rapidly, dependably and easily.
According to this 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant report, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) is a $1.6 billion market that grew 11 percent during 2014 and is expected to grow at a rate of 12.4 percent in 2015. Gartner also recently published its security software market share report, and QRadar SIEM again ranks No. 1. The Leaders quadrant consists of vendor solutions that are a good match to general SIEM market requirements, have been the most successful in building an installed base and revenue stream and show evidence of superior vision and execution. Our belief is IBM Security QRadar SIEM does all of these things — and far more. My hat is off to this extremely talented, dedicated and hardworking team delivering outstanding solutions to our customers in this critical and strategic marketplace.
