Nir Somech
Malware Researcher – Trusteer IBM
Nir Somech is an engineer working as part of IBM X-Force research. He specializes in researching attacks targeting the financial threat landscape. Nir holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the Interdisciplinary Center research university in Herzliya, Israel. He is currently underway to completing his Master of Science (MSc) degree in Math & Computer Science at the Hebrew University. Nir has a keen interest in Windows Internals, reverse engineering, malware analysis, data science, machine learning, and AI. In his spare time Nir enjoys running, volleyball, reading and world travel.
